Dear reader, spare a thought for our lovely, hardworking, unsung altos! They never get the tune. They either get to sing the same note over and over or weirdy ones that jump about all over the place!
By the time you get to hear a City Chorus performance many hours of blood, sweat and cups of tea have gone into trying to crack those tricky bits that sound like nothing anyone's ever sung!
These girls will turn a tentative, first run through like this into a glorious set of harmonies to delight your senses!
