Walking the Thames Path for Parkinsons UK

September 10, 2017

We did it! Team City Chorus completed their 22Km walk in aid of Parkinson's UK along the Thames Path in good time: even with a short pitstop at the pub!

Our team came in placed 32nd out of the 90 in our section...very respectable considering their average age can only be described as 'mature'!!!

Congratulations to all at Ultra Challenge for impeccable organisation... ..walkers/runners very well looked after with water, snacks, rest facilities, and even a glass of prosecco and hot food at the finish!

Big thanks to our support team Mark, Anna and Beth; and to Patrick and Kate for providing us with 'post walk' recovery dinner!

Please, please do visit our Just Giving page http://www.justgiving.com/LetchworthCityChorus?utm_id=23 and make a donation, however small, to this wonderful cause. If you are tax payer you can even get the Government to cough up some too, with gift aid.

This horrible disease has affected fellow choristers. We would like to support the research that could improve their lives. Please help us with a donation.
