Below are some of the fantastic charities that we are proud to support

Carers in Hertfordshire provides free support for children and adults who look after someone close to them with a disability, illness, addiction, or the elderly. The charity supports unpaid carers in Hertfordshire or from elsewhere and caring for someone in the county, and bereaved carers.

They provide information, advice, well-being support, and leisure and learning activities, and provide respite from a caring role. It also offers opportunities for carers to connect with each other and services, and to have their voices heard to shape better health and social care services.

With over 100,000 carers in Hertfordshire (and many more people who don’t recognise themselves as carers), we ensure current and former carers don’t feel alone. Together, we can make sure carers are identified, informed, supported and heard.

Macmillan

Macmillan

Macmillan Cancer Support is there to do whatever it takes to support people living with cancer.

Right now, almost 3.5 million people are living with cancer in the UK. By 2030, this figure will rise to 4 million.

They’re there to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, by providing physical, financial and emotional support. They'll do whatever it takes, no matter what a person's needs are.

Garden House Hospice New 2025 [2]

Garden House Hospice

Garden House Hospice Care provides free specialist palliative care for patients, families and carers facing life limiting illnesses from across North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and towns and villages in Central Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, serving a population of around 260,000 people.

It costs £7.7m a year to provide their services, and although they receive some funding from the NHS, they need to raise £15,300 every day in charitable income to help fund their work.

Parkinson's UK

Parkinson's UK

Parkinson’s UK are the charity that’s there to support every Parkinson’s journey, every step of the way. Wherever you’re from, whatever you need.

They campaign for better health and care, fund research into ground-breaking new treatments, and run life-changing support services.

They’re a powerful community united by one mission: improving life with Parkinson’s.

Help for Heroes

Help for Heroes passionately believe that every member of our Armed Forces community should have the opportunity to live well after service.

There are many challenges that can make transitioning from the military to civilian life tough. That's why they provide veterans with carefully tailored and holistic support for their physical and mental health, along with their welfare and social needs.

When life gets tough for a veteran, it can affect those around them, which is why they also support their families.
